MU HUB

Supporting local charities & those in need

Most months, at St Luke's we hold a Mothers' Union HUB (it's on the second Saturday of the month, combined with our Community Breakfast). Through the HUB we support the work of Michael House, the Foodbank, Hope for Food, the Soup Run as well as other local charities that support the homeless, rough sleepers, vulnerable and those in need. We collect food, clothes, toiletries and seasonal items that are then distributed to each charity.

SCouts

There are a number of Scout groups linked to the parish two of which are 30th Bournemouth (St John's) and 24th Bournemouth (St Luke's). Both are very active within the community and get involved in church activities. We don't have 'parade' Sundays as such but both groups join us for key services like Mothering Sunday and Remembrance.

If you'd like more details, please get in touch with the group leaders directly:

30th: ninaxena1@gmail.com - Nina Laing (Beaver leader & Assistant Cub leader).

24th: enquiries@stlukesscouts.org.uk -  Louise Bradley (Group Scout Leader)
