What do we get up to?

What do we get up to?

There's lots going on in the parish in ordinary times and we're looking to do more. We have three amazing and adaptable buildings that offer us and the community fabulous spaces. We've had concerts and events in our church buildings as well as markets and Christmas Tree festivals! If you'd like to use one of our buildings for an event, please get in touch!

We've listed some of the services below that take place regularly. Generally, we have returned to in-person worship. Events and activities are returning where possible. We'd advise you to check first, though. There are more details of everything else that goes on in the menus above. The parish calendar is at the bottom of the page.

Across the three churches of St John's, St Luke's and St Alban's we have a range of services. Hopefully there's something to suit everyone. On a Sunday there's often a robed choir and sometimes incense. We'll also have songs led from the front with guitar and piano. There's lots for those across the generations to engage in! We'd love to see you! We livestream as much as we can. Whilst we constantly review our worship pattern, this is the current pattern. Our choir returns post-Covid restrictions in September 2021.

On the FIFTH Sunday of the month we will usually have the 8am service at St Alban's and an 11am service at either St John's or St Luke's. On the fifth Sunday we usually do something a bit different!

There are car parks at all churches; St Alban's (accessible from Linwood Road) and St John's (accessible from Vicarage Road). St Luke's car park is on St Luke's Road. All three churches are on bus routes. Access to St John's church building is step-free, likewise St Luke's. There are toilet facilities at each church. At St John's these are not step-free and at St Luke's the toilets are in the hall - accessible via the car park with step-free access with a large accessible toilet. A map and directions can be found under the 'Find us' menu.
