HELLO!

The Parish of Four Saints was formed on 1st October 2023 through the merger of St Francis of Assisi, Charminster and the Parish of Winton, Moordown and Charminster.   

 

The Parish is a large Church of England parish in the north of Bournemouth, Dorset about a mile from beautiful, award winning beaches. We serve about 35,000 people across the parish with three secondary schools and numerous primary schools within our boundary.

We have Four churches in our care, St Francis of Assisi, Charminster, St John the Baptist, Moordown, St Luke, Winton and St Alban, Charminster. We are rooted and grounded in what is known as the 'Liberal-Catholic' and Anglo-Catholic traditions which means that we often have services where the priest wears robes, have a choir and servers and when we can use incense. However, we also like to mix it up a bit with things like Lego Church, Pastries & Prayer and Taizé Prayer.  But it's not all about Sunday here! We like to use our amazing spaces to do things a bit differently and work in and with the local community.
